Teslascender is a
multi-hyphenate creative director and athlete

Teslascender is a world-renowned rock climber, documentary film director, and menstrual cycle educator based in Wales.

Tesla has been competitively climbing for 16 years and has been invited to competitions globally, but her true passion lies in climbing outdoors and getting more people into the sport she loves.

After directing and producing For the Love of Slab, a documentary following rebolting efforts in central Spain, Tesla is now working on her next route development documentary project, Allta.

Allta follows a group of women developing new accessible boulder problems for the local community in the Scottish Highlands. Allta is currently in post-production, preparing for its circuit of international film festivals.

Tesla has also created menstrual cycle education posters (available on this website) to increase discussions around hormonal health within the climbing world and beyond. She delivers talks and workshops on menstrual health at festivals and events. Mens

Tesla works with partners across broadcast, publishing, and digital media to bring climbing stories to life. Fuelled by a passion for getting more people into sports and the outdoors, she’s on a quest to shape the future of rock climbing.
